Mallet Finger Splint

The mallet finger splint is a thermoplastic splint which slips over the finger to maintain extension and immobilise the joints at the end of the finger (distal interphalangeal joint).

The mallet finger splint is prescribed for:

• Mallet Finger Injury
• swan neck deformity
• distal phalanx fractures
• extension of distal interphalangeal joint
• extensor avulsion fractures

Sizing:

• ranges from 1 7.
• size 5.5 is often used for thumbs.
