Mallet Finger Splint
The mallet finger splint is a thermoplastic splint which slips over the finger to maintain extension and immobilise the joints at the end of the finger (distal interphalangeal joint).
The mallet finger splint is prescribed for:
- Mallet Finger Injury
- swan neck deformity
- distal phalanx fractures
- extension of distal interphalangeal joint
- extensor avulsion fractures
Sizing:
- ranges from 1 7.
- size 5.5 is often used for thumbs.
